If I have a herniated disk or sciatica is chiropractic care going to help me?
Ive been in pain for 4-6 months and ive seen a chiropractor 3 times. Today is the worst pain I have been in since the 4-6 months. Im thinking the chiropractor is full of crap and is just trying to string me out for my money.
Should I go see a neurologist and get an actual medical opinion rather than a fake doctor?
Is chiropractic treatment mostly placebo? Are there studies to prove the theory of subluxation?
I have seen studies that shown benefits for low back pain. But it seems that it is only marginally better than conventional medicine. So could it be a placebo effect? Also, is the diagnosis of a short leg substantial or of clinical value?
Has anyone had good or bad results from NUCCA chiropractic?
I was in a car accident and NUCCA chiropractic was suggested. I have had one adjustment and one recheck so far. I have had myofascial pain syndom for about 20 years and have tried almost everything else.
Hip still hurts after chiropractic care. What now?
I have been to the chiropractor multiple times and it seems to help for about a week. He said it was bursitus and he even did an ultrasound to help ease the pain. My left hip hurts almost constantly. The pain is also in my lower back and upper thigh. What can I do to help this pain go away if even chiropractic care isn’t working?
what are your thoughts about chiropractic care?
I’ve had chronic back pain for the past two years. I’ve seen a physical therapist off and on for the past three years with little success. I just started seeing a chiropractor and he gave me a diagnosis of degenerative disc disease. It completely matches my symptoms. I’ve started the treatment and I haven’t noticed a difference yet. It’s also going to cost a lot and insurance won’t help much.
I know that some health care practitioners are skeptical about chiropractic medicine. What are your thoughts?
I started Chiropractic treatment a month ago and am now experiencing jaw pain..?
Has anyone else had this experience? I started treatment a little over a month ago, just general chiropractic check-ups, based on a referral by my primary care physician for stress and anxiety.
It HAS done wonders for that, along with a new dietary plan and lifestyle changes, but I’ve been experiencing on and off jaw pain, moderate to severe at times, when trying to close my jaw (as when chewing) or sometimes when I open it too wide. It kind of varies. I went back yesterday and she used some sort of tool that taps on the sides of my neck and jaw several times, and said something about a rotating atlas (or something like that), but it doesn’t seem to have helped much.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Do Chiropractic know when to use the DRX9000?
My hip is unleveled the right side is higher up than the left. This causes mild pain but I am seeing a GREAT Chiropractic who has almost made the pain go completely away. I just started on the DRX9000 machine yesterday but was reading on what it does and it seems to be more for spinal problems? Can the DRX 9000 help my hips as well?
This machine is suppose to help level my hips again..is this true?
