I believe it to be the Msm, because I have for the longest time taken Glucosamine Chondroitin and never gotten this kind of relief. There are still times - such as before I go for extended walks, or bowling, etc., that I have to rub in something extra, like a menthol ice or Ben-Gay or some such thing because this product does not keep up with the pain of over-exerting the muscles like that, but then I am not in the greatest shape and the number of times I exert myself on a regular basis are rare and few. Otherwise, if your joints hurt you just walking around the house or yard, this cream will ease the pain right up for just such meanderings, and give you the ability to bring back the pleasure you once felt in a casual stroll around the block.
